12/4/06: Those Jolly Old Times When Everyone Drinks Hot Cocoa

“Fashions fade, style is eternal.” - Yves Saint Laurent

What a wonderful worrrrrrrld..... I'm humming the tune of that lovely holiday song I'm singing in my school choir. This reminds me that the holidays are coming and going, so I better make the most of them, and you should, too! Whether it is Christmas, Hannukah, or Kwanzaa, you need to find the best presents for your family and friends. (Remember - best does not always mean expensive!) This is why I'm finishing up my presents posts for those of you who are gift-giving challenged! Here's part 2 and 3, wrapping up this lovely series....

Part 2: The Family

the 'rents: you love 'em oh so dearly, and they would surely appreciate the gift of chicks or a sheep in their name for a poor family in Guatemala or Africa. Go to www.catalog.heifer.org to learn more information about buying an animal for a needy family in your family's name.
the brother: no clue what to get your bro? he might appreciate a t-shirt if his wardrobe is lame! I like this "Lets Hug It Out" tee from Urban Outfitters, $17.99,

the sister: your a girl, she's a girl, you probably know what your sis likes and hates. I know I like this cute manicure lap desk, and if she's a girly girl, she'll love it too! from Pbteen, http://tinyurl.com/ydwl7e

Part 3: You!!!

This is the fun part: Browse these websites and you'll be sure to find something you'd like for yourself:
www.delias.com
(cute clothes at reasonable prices!)
www.shopbop.com
(for the inner designer goddess)
www.shopintuition.com
(classy and cute)
www.pbteen.com
(awesome possum decor for your pad)
www.nordstroms.com
(i love nordstroms, don't you?)
www.urbanoutfitters.com
(kind of expensive for what it is, but it's kind of like your grandma's attic)
www.amazon.com
(good for cds and books)
www.gifts.com
(great ideas for yourself and others, and they have categories such as Sporty Teen Girl, Fashion Obsessed Teen Girl, etc.)

Have fun with holiday gift shopping! It shouldn't be stressful!

-Over and out-
